Billing and subscription

This page explains how the app is paid for, where to manage the subscription, and what happens if it becomes inactive.

Bran Page Builder is billed through Shopify.

  • Current pricing, billing interval, and any trial terms are shown on the app’s Shopify App Store listing and on the billing screen inside the app before you approve anything.
  • You approve the charge in Shopify’s own approval flow. No card details are entered into the app.
  • Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice alongside your other app and platform charges.

Subscriptions for Shopify apps are managed from Settings → Billing in your Shopify admin, where you can review active app charges.

Uninstalling the app cancels its recurring charge.

If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, the app shows a notice with a link to reactivate.

A grace period applies before storefront output is affected, so a payment problem does not take your pages down immediately. During the grace period the notice tells you how many days remain. If the subscription is not reactivated, Bran page content stops rendering on the storefront until billing is active again.

Your content is not deleted when a subscription lapses. Pages, templates, and styles stay in the app, and reactivating restores storefront rendering.

Published Bran pages depend on the app to render their content, so uninstalling affects your live pages.

If you plan to uninstall:

  1. Create a backup and download it, so you keep a copy of your content. See Backups.
  2. Replace or unpublish any live pages that would otherwise be left empty, and update navigation links pointing to them.
  3. Then uninstall from Apps in your Shopify admin.

See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after uninstall.

  • Keep a valid payment method on your Shopify account. Most subscription problems are platform-level billing failures rather than app problems.
  • Download a backup before uninstalling, even if you plan to reinstall later.
  • If you see a subscription notice you did not expect, check your Shopify billing status first.

On your Shopify invoice, and in Settings → Billing in your Shopify admin.

No. Your content stays in the app. Storefront rendering of Bran page content pauses after the grace period until the subscription is active again.

Do I get a refund if I uninstall mid-cycle?

Section titled “Do I get a refund if I uninstall mid-cycle?”

Refunds follow the terms shown at the time of purchase and Shopify’s billing rules. See the Terms and Conditions and contact support with any billing question.

Can I reinstall later and get my pages back?

Section titled “Can I reinstall later and get my pages back?”

Reinstalling restores access to content still held for your store. If your store data has already been erased following uninstall, restore from a downloaded backup instead. Keeping a downloaded backup is the reliable path.
