Billing and Subscriptions
What this section does
Section titled “What this section does”This chapter explains how purchases and subscription management work for direct-distribution builds of Move & Forget.
Distribution model
Section titled “Distribution model”Move & Forget direct builds use external billing providers. In-app payment card processing is not performed by the app.
Supported providers:
- Stripe
- Gumroad
Billing controls in the app
Section titled “Billing controls in the app”Open Settings -> Subscriptions to access:
- Subscribe / Buy action (opens checkout in browser)
- Manage Billing action (opens provider portal/library)
- Contact Billing action (opens support contact page)
Provider behavior
Section titled “Provider behavior”Stripe builds
Section titled “Stripe builds”- Checkout opens a hosted Stripe checkout page.
- Billing management opens Stripe customer portal.
Gumroad builds
Section titled “Gumroad builds”- Checkout opens Gumroad purchase page.
- Billing management opens Gumroad library.
Security notes
Section titled “Security notes”- Payment details are handled by the provider, not by Move & Forget.
- Billing URLs are expected to use secure HTTPS destinations.
- Keep your provider receipt emails for subscription records.
- Use the provider billing portal for plan and payment-method changes.
Where do I cancel my subscription?
Section titled “Where do I cancel my subscription?”Use Manage Billing in Settings and complete cancellation in your provider portal.
Why are billing buttons disabled?
Section titled “Why are billing buttons disabled?”Some builds may not include active checkout/manage links.
