Templates and Preview
What this section does
Section titled “What this section does”The Template tab changes how the same image and products are arranged. The preview shows how the selected template, style profile, product order, prices, and hotspots work together.
Choose a template
Section titled “Choose a template”- Open the look you want to edit.
- Select Template.
- Select a template card.
- Review the preview before saving.
- Try another template if the product list or hotspots feel crowded.
Changing the template does not remove your products or look copy.
Choose the right layout
Section titled “Choose the right layout”- Use an editorial split layout when the image and product list should have equal importance.
- Use a hotspot-focused layout when shoppers should explore products directly from the image.
- Use a compact or list-led layout when product details need more room.
- Use a collage layout when the campaign needs a stronger visual composition across multiple products.
The best choice depends on image orientation, product count, and how much copy you include.
Review the preview
Section titled “Review the preview”Check these items before saving:
- The title and supporting copy are easy to read.
- The full featured image is visible at the intended size.
- Every hotspot points to the correct product.
- Product titles, variants, and prices fit without crowding.
- The main action is clear.
- The layout remains understandable on a narrow screen.
Select Full screen for a larger review. Use Preview on store when you want to see the look in its storefront context.
- Review a template with your real product count; a layout that works for two products may feel crowded with eight.
- Check long product names and sale prices before deciding on the final template.
- If hotspots overlap on mobile, reposition them or choose a layout with a stronger product list.
Will changing templates reset my hotspots?
Section titled “Will changing templates reset my hotspots?”No. Hotspot positions stay with the product rows, but you should review them because each layout frames the image differently.
Why does the preview look different after I change the global style?
Section titled “Why does the preview look different after I change the global style?”The preview uses the selected style profile, so colors, typography, spacing, and button treatment update with it.
Should I save before previewing on the store?
Section titled “Should I save before previewing on the store?”Yes. Select Update look first so the store preview uses your latest saved changes.
